    Centre CH problem with LCR600?

Sounds like I'm getting more sound from the left driver on my LCR600 than on the right. Is this normal?

Yes... The LCR600 is a 2.5 way speaker so the left driver is only there to re-enforce low frequecies.

Curious. How do the low pitches sound? Especially in dialogue.

I had the LCR6 S2 as the center speaker in my previous set up. I recall that B&W and my dealer both said that I could use the speaker horizontally (sideways) but it performed optimally in the upright (vertical) position. I used it both ways and didn't notice an extreme difference. If your set-up will allow it you might want to try standing it upright and see if that evens out the sound for you....It looks a little different but you get used to it. Good Luck!

Recommendation for HT receiver or separates combo for DM604/601/LCR600 set up?
            by hometheaternewb
I have the following speaker setup:

            DM604 S3 (Fronts)
            M601 S3 (Rears)
            LCR600 S3 (Centre)
            SVS PB12 ISD (Sub)

I think I cheaped out too much on the receiver (Yamaha RX-v750). The Yammie has a nice array of processing modes for HT and the auto level set...

            B&W LCR600 tweeter distortion
            by kevsam
Hi, I just upgrade my centre speaker from Mission 75c to the B&W LCR600 S3, and I'm having some problems with it, there is some distortion on certain dialogue that on my old Mission does not exists. I've changed to another LCR600 from the seller but the problem was still there. We tested the 2 LCR...

            new htm3s centre. sound question
            by alastairh
            Hi all,

I have just purchased an htm3s to replace my LCR600, to sit with my front 703's and rear 603's. They are run off an arcam avr300, with the 6+7 spare channels biamping the 703's and all have been calibrated in correctly.

My question is concerning the audible...

            centre channel problems

My home theatre setup uses 803di as left and right and an HTM2Di as centre. My ongoing issue is that of intelligibility of speech. I do realise that actors do not speak "proper" any more and do not always face directly to the microphone when talking. (this is why animated movies are usually...

            HTM2D, HTM1D or 802D as centre?
            by ShadowZA
Assuming that your present front end speaker setup was: 802D (front left) - HTM2D (centre) - 802D (front right) and assuming further that the height and space factor was not an issue if you were to have an 802D for the centre, what would the best setup be from an audio quality perspective regarding...
