Sub Recommendation

Is there a small subwoofer that someone might recommend to augment the bass on a pair of 703's just for music in a relatively small room?
I live in an apt in NYC so I could not blast the sub anyway so a large sub would be wasted.
I am looking for least expensve that would keep the great articulate Bass that the 703's have.

Tight bass for a sub is tight bass, regardless what it's teamed with. So you may even get better responses asking it that way in audio. Getting a broader perspective.
