    Question for N802 Owners?

I just got my N802 Demos. I got everything but the spikes and or rubber feet. Now are the 802's supposed to come with spikes and feet to replace the rollers? And if so are they a special type of spike? I ask this because I have a set of 6mm Soundcare spikes from my 803's. I assumed I could use these so I never questioned the dealer about the spikes. But looking at the speakers it seems like 3 screws are holding the rollers. Therefore do the spikes use the same 3 holes? Now I am asking this before I bring a friend over and flip the speaker, only to find out I have nothing to replace the rollers with.

The N802 use a special spike, contact your dealer he should be able to get them for you no charge.

Thanks. Do they offer rubber feet as well?

Yes, rubber on one side, spike on the other.

When I got my demo N802, they were out of the N series. So I was given the newer Diamond series spikes/rubber feet. Not sure what the difference is, but the dealer was commenting how the newer diamond series spikes were much better. Who knows..but they are really nices spikes! I've kept the rollers on for now...

The rollers are very useful for getting the positioning right, but when you have you should put some masking tape on the floor at the corners of the speakers so you can get them back into the same position when you fit the spikes.

            802, 801 and 800 caster/spike/feet question?
            by William
Wondering what people do for feet on their 802, 801 or 800 speakers. I just got a pair of 802's a couple of weeks ago. My dealer ordered the spike/feet sets and I got them yesterday. He said they are extra (no cost to me) and don't come with the speakers (seems strange). To my surprise they actually...

            Speaker Spikes and Wood Floors
            by tizeye
Currently building Zaph's SR71 and matching stands. First primer coat on drying on sands as I type. Having difficulty deciding how to spike the stands.

With my sub, PE's 10" Titanic, I quickly learned pointy spikes + wood floors = disaster and the separate floor plates are a joke...

I have B&W Nautilus 802's and an ASW4000 Sub and am looking for floor spike solutions for them both. B&W no longer supplies feet or spikes for these and could not even tell me how tell the feet are supposed to be for the sub.

The 802 has metal plates with a roller wheel on the...

Hi everyone. So I've read that putting my N802 on spikes instead of the castors can make a big difference. To those who have spiked, what have you found?

My N802 currently live on top of carpet which in turn is on top of cold, hard concrete. (I live in a high-rise apartment.) To my ears...

            Got my N802's!
            by Amarkus1
Well I received my N802's last night and I am very very happy. I picked up a set of excellent condition demos for a good price. I decided to go that route over any of the D series, because I already have N series center and rears. I did not want to have to upgrade all of my speakers. I am upgrading...
