    Speaker cable recomendation

I am building a new stereo system which will be used about 90% for music and 10% for tv/dvd watching. I just got the 602s yesterday and spent an evening listening and admiring their musicality, I love them and cant wait untill they break in and start sounding better yet!

    It consists of the following:
    Cambridge Audio 540D Player
    Cambridge Audio Studio Reference interconenct
    Cambridge Audio 640A Integrated amp
    B&W 602 S3 speakers

I have everything apart from decent speaker cable. I was wondering if someone could make some good recomendations based on what I am using. Thanks!!

I have a Cambridge Audio 540D and it can be a little bright - I would suggest copper vs silver cable (copper recommended I mean), but this you really need to audition yourself!

The £10/m QED stuff is good. QT300 is the part no. if I remember correctly.

By all means read the info from the forum sponsor, but do yourself a favour & read the cable info section at www.audioholics.com - you could save yourself a lot of money & also save yourself from falling into the cable trap along with most other people....

I've been reading some very favourable reviews of the Cambridge 540D as a CD and DVD-A player. The general sense seems to be that this is an extremely good value in a low-mid priced player. It also seems to get good comments on build quality, which suggests that it might (thinking of future upgrades)...

            A2 initial impressions
            by Ovation
Got to play around with my new A2 for a little while last night. My wife wants me to unwrap it as a Xmas present so it goes back in the box today (I only took it out to make sure it was working properly).

It is a March 2007 build, and it comes with firmware 1.3 (latest is 2.7). I did...

            My new Toy--Sony AW15 720p LCD projector
            by Ovation
I took the plunge this week and ordered a Sony AW15 (after much research and a bit of agonizing). This is my first HT projector (I've monkeyed around with a couple of office projectors from my wife's office, as well as the one at the college where I teach, but none of them are aimed at HT).

            Cambridge Audio 540D Thoughts/Problems

            Hi,

This is my first post on this site. Hope you find it helpful. I've have had the CA 540D for about 2 months now. At first, I was thoroughly satisfied. Sharp looking unit, nice remote, musical sound, good picture, good value. I use it both to play movies and to play CD's and DVD-A's....
