    CCM80 surround placement help

    I am ready to install my in-ceiling ccm80 b&W's rear surrounds. Does anyone have a recommendation for placement? Here is the info:

    My ceilings are 7' 8" high. I will need to install them in a drop ceiling and can do this at either 1 ' , 3' or 5' behind the listening area.

    The CCM80 does have an adjustable tweeter so you can angle it towards the listening area.

    Any thoughts?

      Just received this from B&W. Just posting in case someone else needs this information in the future.


      'Thank you for purchasing B&W! Typically when using the in ceilings as rear
      surrounds, I would suggest placing them to the sides of the listening area,
      and perhaps 2 feet behind to site them appropriately for surround use.'

          7.1 Speaker Placement ?

          Now that I have enough speakers for 7.1, I would like some advice on where to place them.

          I now have a NHT Supercenter, 4 NHT Superone's, a home built 12" Shiva sonosub, and 2 Sound Dynamic RTS-1's.

          I'd like to know the optimal placement of these speakers in my room....

          Damn this is crazy. Today I just bought 4 pair of in-ceiling CCm80 ceiling speakers for my place (and I have no distribution system), Classe 2100 ;x( for my surrounds (currently ccm80 in ceilings :blink: ) and some oh so sweet silver digital interconnects from Lex @ CAT Cables.
