Yes it does exist, but are you looking for a new receiver, or an external processor? My Yamaha RX-V1 has a built-in parametric equalizer. I can't tell you what brands/models do have their own internal equalization - a little homework will be required on that one. External (add-on) units? I don't have any ideas. . . .

Like David said, there are a few around (even THX certifed). I think one company is called Riato or Rialto (not sure of the spelling). They were the most popular if memory serves.

You are very right...the name is Rialto..however you can`t connect through coaxial or optic...it is for a 7 channel with individual analog ins and outs....

I have a Rotel RSX-1056 Surround Receiver. I have problems with the external remote input of the RSX-1056.
The problem is that the RSX-1056 don't react on the sent IR-signal via the external remote input. Controlling the RSX-1056 with the remote via the internal... -
