External DVD drive?

ok... I made sme research and now it s time to ask people who know about it ...
Im looking for an external DVD drive good quality under $150.
What do you guys think about the Benq 162I or th eSONY DRX71oUL
or any ideas?!?....
and ye s I realy need an external.. I would not like buying an internal and a USB external case.. either... Thx.

Well building one will give you the BEST option because you can get a great player and put it in a case for probably about ~$60. But if you don't want that, I'd go with the Benq, that's one of the best externals.

.. by the way if I don't want to build one is for the reason of compatibility of the drive and the case , I m a bit lost there..!?!? But if you could tell me wich drive to put with wich casse I ll very appreciated that

I'd put this drive: NEC 3550A

The second one is a black Bytecc 5.25" which would match, but any of the cases (if the search works right) you should be able to use. Just make sure it has an IDE connection inside, then a USB (or if you prefer Firwire) external connections.
