    RSX-972 VS RSP-1066 as Preamps

    Hello,

    I own a RSX-972 which I use with a Rotel RMB-1075 for both music and DVD formats. Recently, I've been considering purchasing the RSP-1066 as the dedicated processor/preamp in my system. My question is whether there is a substantial difference in the noise floor and other audiophile characteristics to warrant the upgrade price?

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

      I have an option of buying an RSP1066 or an RSP1068, the different in price is about $400. Can someone give me an opinion on whether it is worth the extra of $400 to get the RSP1068.       Hello,
      When I connect my sub to de sub-out I have no sound out my subwoofer. It seems dead. I have my front's set to small, subwoofer to Yes in the menu.

      The sub works fine on my old receiver, but on the rsp1066 it will not work.

      I've bought the rsp1066 second hand....
