    Furman Conditioners

I just wanted to see if anyone has any experience with the Furman M-8 series power conditioners. PE has a sale on them, and I wonder if one of them would be a good alternative to the pricier Furman, Belkin or other conditioners.

    PE Furman Link

    Hope the link works.

    Thanks,

    Jeremy

      Belkin PureAV PF30
      by JeremyG
I've been looking for a power conditioner/suppressor for some time, but can't commit. I hear a few people here use the Belkin PureAV PF60's. Anybody use the PureAV PF30? It looks like it may have most of the same features. Amazon has a killer deal on it right know. I guess my concern is if it uses...

Can you over filter your line with conditioners etc
      by misterdoggy
I think this is still on topic as it has to do with the end sound coming out of our speakers.

Question is: I have heard from some experts that some line conditioners can over filter the electricity causing a montone feeling to your system.

I know this subject seems to get out of control and I'm not trying to start any trouble...I don't want to be exiled ..I'm just getting started..

My dealer was kind enough (I think) to lend me some Transparent power connectors...when I connected them in place of my OEM cables, I think...

      anyone using power conditioners?
      by boothbrave
Anyone use power conditioners with their gear ? Do you think they're overpriced or even worth it ?

I heard amps should be plugged directly to the wall instead of these pwr. conditioners. Any reason why ?

      Thanks

      Power conditioners for HT gear?
      by Joelp
      HI all,

I've been wondering as of late as to the effectiveness of power conditioners for home theatre equipment. For me it would be for my Receiver, DVD player tape deck, VCR, Sub and TV. I wonder though, are these AC line conditioners really much better than a $50 computer surge protector....
