My TV is now out of Inputs

My TV is now out of Inputs

    Raw cable via coax.
Cable box - DVR via Component
    DVD via Component
    ROKU via HDMI
    Wii via Composite
Preamp via composite (I can swap this one in a out if needed, but it is only composite)

I don't want to use the preamp for video switching as I often like to watch one thing and hear another.

lots of avr's and pre/pro's will allow the video sources to remain static when an audio source is selected.

Could also grab a Dayton or Oppo HDMI switch or other video switcher depending on what you need.

I picked up a 4x1 HDMI switch from Monoprice. Works perfectly. Under $40.

          RSP-1068 video quality problems
          by hired goon
          G'day,

I think the video handling of my Rotel RSP-1068 pre/pro is acting up,

I've got an old TV, which only accepts composite input, and is non-progressive. I've got a set-top box connected via composite to Video 1, a VCR connected via composite to Video 3, and a DVD connected...

RSP-1570 and yellow screen via composite
          by mvdveek
          Hello,

Im trying to hook up an old xbox via composite.
But it doesn't matter in which composite in (1, 2 or 3) I put it, all give me a yellowish screen.
Anyone have an idea what might be going on?

          1098 video setup question
          by jimmyp58
I think I know the answer but just to be sure. I have two Sony M555ES 400 disc CD carousels. I will connect each of them to the 1098 via digital coaxial input. No problem here. The question I have is, each of them has a video out via composite that I currently connect to my HDTV; I wish to connect them...

          Video Switching in RSP-1068
          by ekkoville
I think I know the answer, but if you have two or three video inputs, can the monitor out be sent to a video hub and seen on other displays with the main unit in standby only, or does it need to be powered on. Zone 2 will send it via composite in standby mode I believe.
