The buttkicker amp works well:
• 1000 Watts @ 4 ohms
• 1900 Watts @ 2 ohms
• Can power 1, 2, 3, or 4 ButtKicker LFE transducers
• Class D switching technology
• Variable high cutoff, 40 - 160 Hz
• Low cutoff, 25 Hz switchable
• RCA and 1/4” inputs with 160m Volt and 1.25 Volt sensitivities
• Either 120v or 240v versions. NOT SWITCHABLE
I'm runing two 4ohm SVS subs on my Rotel RB-1091. Depending on how hard you have to push it, might work fine for you as well. A lot better sound then the BK one.

Unfortunately independent testing shows the BK amp doesn't produce the rated power and it has very high distortion. So it's probably good advise to follow the Guitammer company when they say it's not recommended for subwoofer duty.
There are numerous fan cooled prosound amps with that kind of power.

Not a lot of pro amps will bridge into two ohms. Is this a dual-coil sub where you can wire the coils in series to get to 8 ohms?
I'm running a pair of dual-driver subs wired for 2-ohms per sub with a Crown K2 in stereo mode at 1250 w/chan. It would bridge to 2500 watts into 4 ohms, but not two ohms.- Bottom

Yeah, if you can get it really cheap and need a ~500w/2 ohm amp, than the BK might be a good choice in a fanless amp. Mine work fine, but I get the one I use on a sub almost free as part of the kits.- Bottom

by woodfiendSorry for the terribly noobish question but in making the sonotube project is there a benefit or a downside in choosing either a Dual Voice coil or a single? I ordered the 15" TC Sounds dual vc and now am wondering if I made the right decision. I know I would have more wiring choices and resistance...-

by Delta DogHas anyone build the Switchable Monitor Statemens? I was wondering if there is that much difference in the speakers performance vs placement. However I cannot get the 12 volt trigger to work. Does anyone know what sort of plug the 12 volt trigger out requires? My...-
