Need a recommendation for 7.1 receiver

Just "entry level". Which brand is the best for HT. Pioneer, Yamaha, Onkyo, Kenwood. Any recommendation. Thanks.

For budget purposes look at Outlaw, Good reviews in Stereophile.

If it's entry level, go for Panny XR55 or Pioneer 1015 :B
You won't be disappointed by either of those for the price range that they offer
              Pioneer KRP-500M
              Emotiva UMC-1
              Parasound 5125
              Oppo BDP-83
              Klipsch RF-3II, RC-3II, RB-5II

The RXV-659 is an awesome receiver for the money. $499 is what it is going to set you back. You can get the IPOD dock as well for 99 bucks. Pretty cool little item. It also has video display of the IPOD if you have your receiver hooked to your TV. XM ready, and a bunch more cool stuff. :T
The Bitterness of poor quality last longer than the joy of low prices.

                          Hi

I'm interested in getting a tube amp and was hoping someone here may have listened to a couple of the amps I'm considering. I basically got interested when I read some rave reviews about the great value of the Miniwatt S1, which has since been superseded by the N3.

                          As...

Recently acquired a near mint yamaha yp-d6 turntable. I'm new to vinyl and would like any recommendations on a good entry level phono preamp. It has a stanton epoch ii cartridge on it which I believe is mm but just to be safe I was thinking I should buy a preamp with mm & mc capabilities. Thanks...

                          Favourite Entry Level Receivers
                          by P-Dub
Just wondering what people like to recommend as their favourite quality entry level AV Receiver. I'm thinking

                          around the $500 range.

At the moment I like the feature set of the new x30 Yamahas. The 630 seems like a great value at $499. 75Wx6, all

                          Heya guys,

I really need your help evaluating if I should even get involved with a FPJ setup for my current location. I have been given an InFocus 640 LCD projector with less than 40hrs on it that a good friend used for meetings before moving out of his old building.

                          Anyways,...
