    Compact stereo receiver, 30w rms?

I'm looking for something I can use on my PC for 2 bookshelves + subwoofer output. I ordered the Sonic T-amp and some JBL Controls for my office and would like to have something for home use that will provide a bit more power as I like to watch movies on my PC. I've been eyeing the AMP100 (example of desired functionality, rca in, and rca out), but I've been hearing some concerns about sound quality.

    Thank you for any suggestions!

What about that new outlaw audio receiver (2-Channel only) at 100 watts per channel? model number RR2150 $599.00. or parasounds very small amplifiers at 35 to 40 watts per channel (399.00 or so) but will need the pre amp too.

Was doing some searching around on the net, and found a Sunfire amp that is rated at 625 W RMS X 2.
Not that I have any intention on purchasing this or pushing that much power to the N802s.. But got me wondering.
Since the reccomended power for these speakers is 500 watts RMS.. Would the...

OK guys, I agree to quit hijacking threads like the monopole vs dipole discussion and present my nutball ideas in their own separate playground...

I'm keen to find out how small a pair of open baffle speakers can be built.

The full plan can be read here , but in summary the criteria are:
      - Full range (20hz - 20khz)
      - Compact, no larger than typical 5" floorstander. High WAF :P
      - Simple eq/xo, no more than bi-amp....

We recently purchased a tv/entertainment unit and the shelves are
too narrow to fit my old amplifers (standard rack unit width)

I am in need of a another amplifer. Will be driving rather insensitive speakers (~82dB/W) so will need to bring at least a good clean 100 watts to the...
