Lg Dv7832nxc
I just bought this unit. Manufacture date was Oct. 04. Downloaded the firmare file and burned to cd. What is the the procedure to install this update?I will be using component inputs.

Just purchased the LG DV7832NXC and cannot get it to work through component output! The screen is black and white, out of focus, and seems to be broken up into 4 sections(a faint cross is though the middle of the screen). I've tried the firware update but get the same problem.

What are your thoughts on this.My subs are xover at 80hz.The processor does this electronically @ 24db/oct.
My mains are also xover via the processor at 80hz , but at 12db/oct. Is it possible to get a line level 80hz 12db/oct filter to add to the one that is already in the processor ?... -
I've seen people using 3 different types of alignments for 12db/oct crossovers:
1: Linkwitz/Riley
2: Butterworth
3: Bessel
I've noticed all set up resonance at the crossover frequency, so what it the difference among the 3? Is one any better than the other?

We're trying to get a diy going for October 20th. I'll be there with some measurement equipment, and, of course, my display model dipole... :W That is, it won't likely be working. Although maybe I'll have SE or lspCAD emulation working for it. Unfortunately, there is only one....
