What's the definitive recording of "Carmina Burana"?

The thread title says it all. There's lots of recordings out there, even on high-res audio. Has anyone found one particular recording that you think stands out beyond others?

Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

You probably can't do much better than the versions on DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON.
Schoneberger Sangerknaben ยท Chorus and Orchestra of the Deutschen Oper Berlin
    conducted by EUGEN JOCHUM.
I don't have to many of their cd's but, have found their vinyl to be some of the best.

Boy, you and David are listening to even wierder music than the Flaming Lips today. Poems by defrocked monks and funeral music.

It's not even close. In addition to the Jochum, I like the nearly as old Sawallisch. Of the more recent versions, the Frubeck-deBurgos on EMI is superb. Both of those are EMI. On MCH, the Thielemann you mention is OK and preferable to the Mehta or the Runnicles, imho. So far, though, none of the MCH versions work as well for me as the forementioned.

My comments were based on performance primarily and sound secondarily. When the term "definitive" comes up, I always think performance first.
