Hey there fan - I don't think they really compare to any of the B&W speakers. Maybe in size, and the fact that they are a full-range speaker, but in my opinion that's really where the comparison ends. You know, I auditioned the Def Tech towers right along the B&W speakers, and found them really inconsistent in terms of delivering the same sound stage. I was even comparing the Def Techs to the B&W 600 series and found them lacking in comparison...Originally posted by b&w fan

Was wondering how many of you are using Def.Tech. speakers with your rotels.How do they match up with your system as compared maybe to B&W.Since so many of you use the B&W's. -

so far for my HT, I've settled upon Yamaha RX-V1800 and Sammy HL61A750. I know I want Definitive Technologies for Speakers, (my rec Room HT has Def Tech Speakers and I LOVE THEM), but I'm not sure what I need since I'm new to 7.1 configurations. Do I need bipole/dipole? Do they go on the sides? Back?... -
