FYI,
New Depeche Mode CD/DVD out today as well as just the CD release of their new album Playing the Angel.

The CD/DVD is in a super jewel case with the DVD featuring the entire album in DTS 5.1 as well as PCM and DD 5.1.

It also has:

Making the Angel which I think is a documentary
Clean(Bare)? Not sure what this is
Precious the Video
Photo gallery
& Pain and Suffering in various tempos.

Amazing audio quality on both the CD and DVD. I'm LOVING IT. :T

Shane, is the CD you have, actually a hybrid SACD, or are there 2 releases, a CD/DVD and a hybrid-SACD/DVD release as well?

The SACD is not released here in the states(euro only thing).

I have the DVD/CD release in DD 5.1 and DTS 5.1 and PCM.

Hmm, I see. That's too bad for you all, compressed DD or DTS is not comparable to SACD. You could order it from europe? Why wasn't it released as DVD-A in US?

I could order it from Europe but the "Compressed" 5.1 DTS sounds fabulous. The PCM CD sounds fantastic too.

Dvd-A is pretty much headed down to dead status here with Dual Disc taking over. IN essense this is a dual disc release but not in the truest sense.
