    Looking for Speaker Stand Recommedations

    Any suggestions on speaker stands greatly appreciated. Will spend up to $300-$350 for 2 stands, probably 17" 20" variety My bookshelves are:
    18H x 10W x 10D Also would like to fill with sand

      Click on the Parts Express banner at the top. On the home page, near the bottom, you'll see a listing for "24" speaker stands" for $89.50/pr. These are very high-mass and sand-fillable, outstanding quality. They also come in 12" and 18" heights. I bought a pair of these exact stands years ago with my Spica TC-60's and it cost me $250!

          My DIY speaker stands, built off of the tntaudio.com "stubby" design, just fell apart, *almost* destroying the modula's that were on top of them. They were pretty wobbly, and an unfortunate bump actually caused the wieght of the speaker to split the base in half.
