CURATORIS,
for you music preferences, you should really consider (or add to your list) the Dynaudio Audience 72 or Audience 72SE. These are incredible neutral floorstanders and their tweeters are what makes them very special.....particularly the 72SE....Regards :T,

Boombox,
I think curatoris means he can ONLY order from the above selection, if I'm reading between the lines correctly ,and as he pointed out to us with the list!!!
So with his Music preference in my mind ,I would select the B&W 703. Of course, If I had the choice I would go with the 800 series of the B&W ,but I think he meant pick from the above list ,right??????
Hoped that helped ,and wished you could have had an audition ,as speakers sound different to everyone. I Love B&W with Jazz ( they complment them extremely well), and will do the same for the rest of your list of Music selection, but again these are my ears with that type of Music, and this is my opinion!!!!
Good Luck ,and keep us posted as to what you have selected!! Curious here!!
Have a nice day and Cheers!!!!- Bottom

The possibilities are huge. You should read up more on the subject as you've limited yourself considerably. There's alot of great speakers that aren't as well known the speakers you list but will give you more for your money imo.
In the electronics arena Parasound is a good place for a power amp to start. Preamps have a significant effect on the sound. You should read as much as possible of varying opinions in places like audioasylum where there's alot of this type of discussion for 2 channel audio equipment.
Please consider buying used. Audiogon and Ebay have alot of high quality gear that can be purchased for much less money. This means you get much more for your money than buying new. The gear is typically well cared for and well made so will last alot of years.
Being as you can only read about what other people say, read all you can. There's other audio forums with other users/opinions. Spending this kind of money warrants the research I think.- Bottom

by Tom CainesI have a RXS-1056 with it's oem RR-1050 remote. I have programmed my inputs and the 1056's LED displays my selections: DVD, DIRECTV, SAT, IPOD, PHONO.
On the remote, selecting V1 displays DVD on the remote's LED, which is correct, but I have no idea how this came to be.
However,...-

by daniel4381Hi, This will be my first try of building a speaker, but I am confused in selecting the kits. I have a Bose Acoustimass 10 for enjoying movie that is powered by Onkyo NR 727. According to my experience the performance of Bose for listening music is awful. I have another receiver that is Yamaha rxv 595...-

by Aussie GeoffHi,
As a long time lurker and “newbe” member of this forum I thought I’d start a service of managing a list of suggested upgrades to the RSP 1098. Thanks to all the helpful advice from this forum I have my order in for a 1098 of my own (waiting on the DTS-ES issue being fixed)....-
