pop sound every 45 or so from my HT audio system

I recently started to hear a "pop" like when you turn the system on, or you plug to any AV system... witht he audio ON...this happen when the System is ON but no matter the Input..it could happen when is coax signal or Optical signal...

is not often.. sometimes 40 min or more... but is starting to anoy me

It is not a ground loop either coz i don“t own Ground on my room...

is weird, coz the only thing i change was the RCA Cable from my PC to the Reciver... It has a 2feet cable before and i changed for a 5 feet one.

At first i though it was the cable but then i was watching a Movie with a Coaxil Input on.. and the pop did it as well... the PC was even turned OFF.

is posible the cable alone is doing this? even when the PC is not ON and the Active input is other than the PC cable?

You might try disconnecting all inputs to the amp and running it idle to see if it still does it (if it is a receiver, maybe run the FM so it has a signal). If the POP doesn't happen with the AMP alone, connect your inputs one at a time and try to isolate which one may be causing the problem.
There is also the possibility that it is coming in on your AC line.

It is possible that it's the cable, try swapping it back with the previous one and see if the problem continues. Otherwise Stoney's suggestion to try each input is the next best thing to try.

You could also have static build up in the receiever, a wire from the chasis to the screw on your electrical ooutlet might help that

Did you add a bar fridge in the room? Inductive loads turning on and off can cause a pop like you mention (did for me). Try to figure out what else is on the circuit, it may lead you to something you hadn't thought of.

          1066 problems and solution
          by jprzybylski
I loved my 1066 from day one.

What I didn't love was the unacceptable signal recognition delay that ranged from 1 second to up to 12 minutes before the unit would recognize a signal, decode it and begin playing it. I also didn't love the occasional "pop" that would happen at...

Yet another question about RSX-1067 hiss/pop
          by rotelnyc2
          Hey all!

I'm a first time Rotel owner, been eyeing the RSX since the introduction of the 1065. First off, I did find a good amount of info on the hiss/pop issue amongst the threads, but didn't find much info on my questions and issues specifically so I decided to start a new thread,...

Wiring is a difficult problem to solve. Especially with racks that are more open than closed in. Mine did look like the back side of a Nasa control center before finally getting back there and straightening it out. The more gear you have, the more difficult the task of course.

RDC-7 audible "POP" when selecting inputs with attached source?
          by ton1313
I just hooked up a new amp for center, suround, & sub duty. A Citation 5.1 4 channel @ 100w. Now I am noticing a slight "POP" from these speakers when selecting a different input, & also when selecting a chanel from dish network. It seems to happen momentarily when the RDC-7 locks onto...

Punchy pop songs without low bass?
          by AwArEnEsS
I sometimes listen to songs which are called "dance hits" or dj remix on cds or web. While listening to many of them, I don't feel punching bass, if I crank the volume too much then it has a bit better punch but I can't do that cause there are other houses next to our house(although they are...
