    Tuners??

    Hello All,

    Who make a good tuner? I heard Rotel's RT02 and lost my mind. I need a tuner for my bedroom. The RT02 only come in silver & we need black.

      10 series in black. RT-1080, I think it is.

          I thought all the Euro series models were available in black. I've seen a black RCD-02 and RA-02 set on EBay in the past. I would assume the RT-02 is also available.

          Couldn't find any mention of colour choices on the Rotel website though but, then again, the Rotel website is sad...what's new is hardly new (when are they going to mention the stuff they announced at CES?).

              I just came across your post while researching the RA-01 and wanted to respond. The RT-02 does indeed come in black, I bought one last week for my office/den system. So far I'm very happy with it. The RT-02 has good seperation, a nice soundstage especially on live broadcasts and it has an involving and musical sound that is very easy to live with.

                  Your question may have been answered but a couple other dedicated tuner companies are Fanfare and Magnum Dynalab. The latter even has some tube powered tuner's :rollhead:

                      the Anthem TLP-1 is a tuner; preamp. I realize there are no Rotel tuner pre-amps. which Rotel pre-amp is equivalent to the Anthem TLP-1 in terms of pre-amp.

                      I would like a tuner but will probably get the cheapest I can find e.g. RT02, some crappy tuner

                      I plan to run this...

                      Has anyone compared the Marantz ST-6000 to the Rotel RT-1080. I may add a tuner to my setup. Both seem to have great reviews but the Marantz can be had for $250-300 vs. the RT-1080 for $450ish. Are there any other tuners out there at these price points that I should be considering as well?                       I just got a RA02 last week, I have to say that it is great and sounds really good compare to what I have before (yamaha RXV-1300). I paired up the RA02 with NHT SB2 and a Denon 1710. And all I have is a RCA interconnect connecting my int-amp with my dvd.
