I’ve done pretty much the same thing, used a larger inductor to tame a break up node, and a textbook xo, right out of a Weems book, I think. Then tried a few resistors on the tweeter. Sounded so good I thought I lucked out. Then my measurements revealed a lot of broad dips. It was a good lesson that I am more sensitive to additive peaks than missing valleys.
What size cabinet did you put that woofer in? Will you bother sinking the drivers or just let them be?Comment

All by ear but i do have a dayton testing mic, unfortunately somewhere else atm.. I'll tidy the x/o up but keep it outside cab until then.
The cab is approx 17-18 litres, I plan to add a layer of thin mdf to recess the drivers.
More listening today, both midbass and ribbon v detailed even at low volumeComment

Like others, I caught the DIY bug after building the classic Overnight Sensation MTMs. I realized that store bought speakers in my budget just wouldn't make me happy. I wanted some real tower speakers that wouldn't leave me needing more. I stumbled on the Anthologys page but never found much for feedback... -
Her is my Statements surround build. I am starting with the Monitors and then will do the full Statements & Center. After the speakers I will do a sub and then upgrade amps, have a new Denon 3313ci for now.

I'm highly impressed with the level of detail and help provided by the crew here. I was referred to this site by Mark Seaton while attempting to get some help with a possible build. I can see why he sent me here. I should have probably come here just due to the fact that ThomasW is part of the site....
