HT help

Hey

Im new to HT, but have always been v fond of it.
I plan on making a HT room in my new house, in the basement.
since the construction work is to start in a month's time, i can alter the room dimensions.
currently my room is 20'7" * 25'-9"
the ceiling height is aorund 10'

i'm not sure if it's too big or to small, or shalli raise the ceiling or lower it.
also i have no idea how will it be designed and it's layout
id appreciate some insights and some good design recommendations.

To start with, those dimensions aren't bad at all. We'll have to ask you a bunch of questions to be able to give you good answers, so I'll throw out a few to start things off.

1) Do you want to have a large audience, or small?
2) Are you interested in good stereo along with movies?
3) Do you want front projection?
4) Is this going to be a multi-use room?
5) Have you come up with a budget?

well to start with
I have a budget of say around 4-5000$
nope no large audience, arnd 8-10 ppl @ maxx!!
yup indeed this si gonna be a dedicated room! jst movies and chilling out!good sweet sound, cuz im only gonna play movies,
for some odd reason i veliee if i hook up my pS2, it's gonna be crappy

i dun really know abt projection
so you'd hav to help me there
tell me what you'd recommend

im attachign a floor plan of my basement
i can modify the room anway.
