    Zone 2 Connection

I am going to run cables out of my 1068's zone 2 out to a second reciever and need analog cables to do this. Is it advisable with a run of about 45-50 ft. to use coax for this run as it is much cheeper than a pair of nice interconnects that length? If not, what kind of cable is best?

Coax will work but it's not ideal for audio. But it will be fine if your zone 2 listening isn't critical.

What's the other option, extra long interconnects from a dealer?

        Zone 2 issue with 1068
        by ekkoville
Setting up zone two today and spent a considerable amount of time trying to get sound in the other room. I came to the conclusion that the 1068 dosen't distribute digital sound from coax or optical out to zone two. The CD player worked fine, but no digital format. The menu allows you to select specific...

Ok, i'm about at wits end here.
To simpify what im doing, I'll only refer to three components.
        1) The zone 2, which is just a CRT tv with composite video and simple two channel stereo... basicly, its just a tv. I'm not using Coax to feed it any signal, just the composite video and sterio...

        RSX-1055 and zone 2 question
        by srinathalapati
        Folks,

I own a RSX-1055 and I am planning to buy an amplifier (Audio Source AMP100) to power outdoor speakers. I was reading the RSX-1055 manual about zone 2 operation and it confused me a bit. I am looking for some clarification from the experts here. On page 25 in the manual it says:...
