Whether you're a fan of Apple or not, you have to admit, they make some of the most beautiful monitors around—heck, it even won our hive five for bes

I'd really like to try this sucker out at $564. 30" IPS @ 2560x1600. I don't care about all the "features" of a monitor. I just want it to do its job.

No doubt Chuck. It's hard to find a display that's just a display these days  Give me quality resolution, colour, and contrast. The damn thing doesn't need to make coffee!

Funny, I was perusing the web for a possible TV upgrade this summer and I found only ONE plasma by Samsung that's basically just a 1080p display. No "smart", no 3D, no wifi etc. Here's hoping it's still available in ~6 months...

      External Monitors w/ RSP-1066

The way my HT is configured once the 159" screen is lowered I lose sight of the digital display on the 1066. This is further complicated because the RSP-1066 On Screen Display doesn't work while in Component Video mode...not that I would even want that displayed on the huge screen. I am considering...

      Hi all,

I am a newbie on the forum. I know my way around equipment but haven't really kept up with the latest stuff. Any suggestions on a cheap but low-noise 5.1 receiver?

You see, it's time to replace my parents' old Yamaha RX-V receiver with something that is much less...

      Howdy,

My hobby is speaker building. But, I need a new TV and have started lurking here at the "RPTV's, Plasma, and other monitors" section for the last couple of weeks. :lurk:

I guess a few things have transpired in the 10 years since I last purchased a monitor....
