External Monitors w/ RSP-1066

The way my HT is configured once the 159" screen is lowered I lose sight of the digital display on the 1066. This is further complicated because the RSP-1066 On Screen Display doesn't work while in Component Video mode...not that I would even want that displayed on the huge screen. I am considering locating a small LCD screen or monitor near the seating area so I easily access the Display Menus via the Composite Monitor Output.

Do any of you have such a set up, and how does it work for you?

Darren,

In theory it should work, I have not actually done it myself, but I have heard that other individuals have tried it (another forum), including small plasma screens. Try something around the house that you already have available and experiment.

That should work fine just run composite cables to it from the 1066 as well as any source you want to watch on the small TV and it should be fine.

I have the same problem; I use a small TV connected to the composite out. It works fine.
