    Niles Audio

I used to use one of these to trigger a Rotel amp that did not have a trigger in it.

I cut off the end of a 3.5mm mini cable and pluged it in. Worked well.

    Hope this helps.

Doesn't the Monster HT series have "switched" outlets that are triggered with s 12v trigger?

I'm pretty sure my old HT2000mkii power strip had this feature. I just never used it.

        Trigger confusion - Rotel 1068
        by RotelNewbie
Man, there sure seems to be some confusion on this topic, reading through history. Anyway, my situtation is unique and I'm looking for any suggestions on a solution. I recently came home with a brand new RSP-1068 to replace my aged Marantz AV600/DP870 combo. Stopped at Radio Shack on the ride home...

        Use of Trigger Signal
        by Karma
        HI All,
I am a recent HT owner with all new equipment. While I was setting things up, I ran into something I had never seen before: TRIGGERS. None of my manuals gave more than passing mention so I ignored them for a while. At several Radio Shack's I asked for an HT Trigger cable and they had...

        12v trigger question
        by benjamj
I know there have been several threads on 12v trigger issues, so I hope you will indulge me. I have an Onkyo receiver with pre-outs and 12v triggers for 2 additional zones. I am using an old 5-channel receiver to power those 2 zones, and have dedicated 2 channels per zone. The old received lacks a 12v...

signal sensing amp at low volume?
        by likwidsh0k
Got a rb976mkII and the auto-sensing is great to use for the surrounds so it powers up when any surround material is played. Worked great until I decreased the volume to a bit quieter. Sometimes it switches off then straight back on again or I have to turn up the volume. Is this normal? I thought it...

        12v trigger power strip
        by garak
I have some cooling fans that I'd like to turn on when I turn on my pre/pro.

Do any of you know of a power strip that can turn power to its outlets on by using a 12v trigger?

        Thanks in advance.
