    hdtv video splitter?

    HI all,

    I'm planning on getting a LCD tv for everyday viewing and a projector for movies, I have a DVD player VCR and Network media player as sources for both. currently I use a ROTEL RSX-1056 as a switch for my VCR and Network media player, the dvd player is diretly connected to my tv via Component.

    Is there a high quality swith/multiplexer/splitter/distribution amplifier which will take 2 component video inputs and have 2 component video outputs?

    I think this would be optimal as I would have the DVD player''s signal going through 1 switch rather than 2 (DVD->Switch->Display) and the VCR and Media player would be upsampled to component through the receiver (NMP/VCR->Receiver->Switch->Display)

      Here is what you need its made by Calrad Electronics, I use this one and it works well.

          Gefen makes a good one. So does Key Digital. There are some other ones that are really cheap but I will not speak for the quaility of the spliter/amp.
          The Bitterness of poor quality last longer than the joy of low prices.
