    Color in Proxima 9250+ - Help Please

    Proxima 9250+ has started having extreme color distortion when projecting RGB signal. . . signal is split and looks fine on monitor, but projector color balance is way off. . . attempts to change using projector menu is not successful. . . .any ideas. . . thanks in advance.

      Are you sure you are getting R, G & B correctly into the projector (i.e. bad cable or incorrectly hooked up)?

      If so, what color issues are you seeing?

          9250+ color issue

          Thnx for the fast reply. . . rgb is HD fifteen pin to HD fifteen pin. . .cables are same as when projector was giving good color balance. . . there is a distinct red shift. . . going into the projector color balance menu can help but the condition remains distorted. Because of the cable type I assumed that the pins were OK. . . may be bad assumption. . . time to pull the cable and do a pin check. Thanks again!

              The 9250 looks to be one of the older Sanyo-based proxima's. How many hours on it total (not just the current lamp)?
