projector is about 13ft from screen, which is 77".

Not to get far off topic my friends but...

a friend has the matte white high contrast DaLite 92", and my Grey DaLite High Contrast is far superior. The Blacks are substantially better, no exaggeration. When he finds a buyer for his current screen, hes getting the grey one.

I told the salesman I havent got 7200 money. 'what do you mean'' thats the 4805!. sure enough she was piggybacked on top of the 7200. 15 minutes later and $2450 aussie dollars invested I walked out. 4 weeks later i'm still grinning.
      Hey Guys...
Ive been tossing up between the cheaper Toshiba s20 and the Infocus SP4805. Now it sounds like the Infocus a little more recommended. Basically I'd be using it for DVD's and Xbox... Just a few quick questions though, Im guessing Lumens arent a huge factor if the contrast ratio is decent (IE: the toshiba being 1400 and the Infocus being only 750, yet the picture on them seem comparable) and does the fact that the infocus is native widescreen affect Xbox play? or does setting up the xbox to widescreen fix any 'stretching'? (Im new to this Projector thing)

Also KartmanJim, may I ask where you got your Projector from? The cheapest Ive been qouted is $3000 for the projector (Thats with $500 off apparently) and $640 for a manual pulldown screen....

        Hey guys,

I bought the 4805 two weeks ago and everything was fine...now when we turn it on and power on the dvd player, we get two reddish lines going up the screen...any advice on how to fix this?

If they are horizontal lines, it could be a grounding problem. Often a cable connection is the culprit. Try removing the cable from your setup and see if the lines disappear. If not the cable, it could be some other piece of equipment.

            by dyazdani
I posted a while back about starting a RL-p15 based sub. I finally got around to getting all the parts and pieces I needed to start on the enclosure.

Here are a few pics from today.

First, I constructed a sawboard to help me cut the MDF panels to a manageable size. I am amazed...
