    DVI Issue with SP4805

    Hey Guys,
I just got my 4805 and i was really impressed with how good it looks ...

However i just ran into a problem ..

I've been watching TV through a 15ft M1 to DVI Cable and its been working Perfect....

But now when i turn it on, the picture will show up for a few seconds, and then just a black screen..... When i unplug the DVI connector, and plug it back in,the picture comes back on for a few seconds... and then, nothing but Black Screen!!...

    Whats going on ????

I've heard stories about having problem's with DVI cables if there over 30 feet, but mien is only 15ft!!

Is there anything i can do to fix this problem ???

Right now i have my cable hooked up through Component Cables
( which is ok but i want to get the best picture possible )

I JUST got this projector so i dont understand why im already having problems...

    (firmware versions incase its important)
    Software Version: 1.2.1
    Boot Version:1.3
    OEM Version:1.2

Any idea's or suggestions are greatly appreciated
    Thanks

I had a similar problem with an optoma h27 pj,i was using dvi out of dish 811 sat box and would get a no picture problem, could use the component out but not the dvi.Replaced the sat box and bingo it works out of the dvi now.Maybe a similar problem?
