First, I will bet you will search for years for any forum member anywhere with individual LCD panels from optical blocks for sale.

Second, LCD panels don't have a color associated with them. The color comes from a dichroic filter/polarizer plate that is used to limit the light that panel acts on to one narrow band. It is a separate piece of optics. Which do you need, the polarizer plate or the LCD panel?

Third, projectors don't have a yellow filter. It's red, green or blue (for now anyway). Although the blue one might appear yellow as that is what is reflects.

How come you haven't tried the manufacturer?

        replacing blue polarizer
        by mikepeck4
I have a Proxima 5900 with a burned blue polarizer. I bought a similar projector so I could take its polarizer and replace the burned one with it. Can someone tell me where these polarizers are and what do they look like?

        Burned by Sanyo....need help
        by Coby
Well, I'm frustrated beyond belief. I bought my PLV-z2 a bit over a year ago, and I've got about three thousand hours on it. Some time ago a blue smear started showing up and it got worse and worse. I sent it into Sanyo for warranty through Visual Apex (good company, but they couldn't help, unfortunately)....

        Proxima 5800 Video Drops Out
        by mhutchins
I have an old Proxima 5800 that has been great for the occasional presentation around town. I've decided to use it with my playstation 2 and I'm having mixed results. I've connected the Playstation to a VCR and connect to the 5800 via a Video component cable (the yellow one). At first the games run...

Proxima DP5900 leaking liquid from optics?
        by bigbop
I was just given a Proxima DP5900 because the screen is a fuzzy blue and has what looks like a bite taken out of the top of the image (projector was mounted on a ceiling). I took the top cover off and found a sticky liquid inside had leaked out of part of the optics between the LCDs and the front lens...
