    costo.ca/ 899. BenQ W500
costo.com/ 999. Mitsubishi HC 1500U with 92" pull down screen.

my basemant 13.5 by 19.5, one window that will be completly covered.

I purchased w500, I was very happy as it was my 1st pr., but same time something was missing. Not 100%, and then had to move. So I'm looking into panasonic 2000/ 3000, sanyo 700/ 3000 and epson 6500ub. I won't need the unit till Nov. or so.

You really will see a difference with a 1080p projector vs a 720p with hi-def material on a large screen. I own both and there IS a difference so perhaps that's why you weren't completely happy with the BenQ 500.

My brother in law has 1080UB and it is huge upgrate, even watching reg. DVD throught oppo 981/ psp3. Blu Ray is unreal, there was just too much missing with 720p projector and that I'm very picky.
