    Is it a fixed screen or pull down?

    Pull down screen can show some waves, if it's not a tensioned screen. Temperature changes or humidity can contribute to it somewhat as well.

      Hello, harveen, and welcome to the Guide! :banana: You'll have to remind me what CSR is. screens that are pulled tight do tend to stretch and loosen over time, and if not properly installed, may get small wrinkle waves. But you just got yours last week--how do you have it installed?

        CSR = controlled screen return.

        My pulldown Dalite Highpower (120") showed a few small waves not long after getting it. They don't really show on this material though. Which Dalite model do you have, and can you see the waves under viewing conditions?

              I called 'em...

              I called them and the first answer was "that happen all the time with cheap stuff"... $250 is not very expensive for a 106" d but it s still a bit of $$$!!!
              Anywaythis guy on the phone was very nice and told me to pull it down very very very strongly (...and to do not arrached it from the wall ! ) and that should work... anyway I m gonna take care of that today and I let you know if it works...
              If not I asked if I could have a replacement , he said yes!

              OK , cu !++

                I've heard alot of people complaining about waves in their screens. I have a Da lite 92" deluxe model B, and it has the wave issue. At first it was hardly noticeable, but as time went on it got worse. Temp, humidity etc. I'm now saving up for a tentioned screen. A little pricey, but I believe it's worth it. Good luck with your new screen.

                  I can highly recommend our sponsor Carada screens. The full frame and snug fit make for a wave free viewing experience. Mine has been wave free for at least 2 years and it's a big 4:3 screen!

                  I have a 92" pull down coming free with a projector I got, first thing I'll do is likely ebay that thing.

                    I feel your pain. I have sent two Model B's back, before I realized that they were all the same... Wavy, with some roller creases. Saving up for something better, but right now have Projector problems. Sometimes you just can't win...
                    Anybody else had any experience with the Carrada?

                      if having the screen roll-up is not a requirement why don't you guys just build your own hard-screen? I built one over the last few weekends and it turned out pretty good. Call a local art-supply or print shop and buy a 4 x 8 sheet of 3/16" gatorfoam board= about $50. IF your running a CRT the matte-white side is perfect if not paint the other side with Goo Systems digital Gray. You can Velcro the Gatorfoam into a light wood frame, I built my own with 3 x 1/2" furring strips and painted it Black. I Gaurantee it will be not be wavy. :T
