Pioneer 533HD in need of work.

HD composite is messed up, this happened this past month.

I know these things can be adjusted, how do I go about it?

Are there any experts locally? Worcester, Ma

    thank you

    Can you describe the problem?

Also, I assume you meant HD component, not composite, right?

maybe i can put a pic up?

Also the left side isnt continuing?

i went into convergence and centered everything. the grid looks horrible! there was no power outages that I am aware of. the set is on a surge protection strip.

I was wondering if there are any experience locals? or maybe I can get online help. money is tight right now and last time a few years ago when we got it "tuned" it was a bundle.

Let me also state this is happening only on HDTV content (component).

Your service-mode convergence in HD mode got messed up somehow, maybe a power surge scrambled part of the convergence memory.

If you feel comfortable going into service mode on your set, you can probably fix it yourself. If not, you'd have to have someone come out to do it for you. I could come down there, I'm about 2 hours away. PM me if you're interested and I can give you a quote.

One more suggestion: try unplugging the set for 10 minutes or so, and plugging it back in. This might reset it and bring it back to normal.
