I am in Mass and my cable provider (Charter) uses a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 3250 HD. This box has HDMI out and my TV has DVI in - so trying to always get the best, I purchased a HDMI to DVI cable.
When I couple the two, and additional audio cables the cable box throws a message on the TV:
DVI Alert: Your HDTV does not support HDCP. Please use the YPrPb component connection to watch TV.
Charter is and was clueless. Has anyone had this type of problem or know how to get these devices to talk to each other?
Thanks,
Keith
