    Cindy Lauper--Guilty Pleasure

The Live At Last DVD of Cindi at Town Hall (March 11, 2004) in New York is great fun. She has a unique voice that wraps itself around her music with an intensity that reminds me of Bette Midler. Sound is excellent and the supporting musicians are superb. Very few today command the stage like Cindi. At Last, Stay, I Drove All Night, If You Go Away, All Through the Night, Walk on By (very surprising), Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood, She Bop, Sisters of Avalon, Change of Heart, True Colors, Shine, It's Hard to Be Me, Money Changes Everything, Unchained Melody, and then Time AFter Time and Girls Just Want to Have Fun as encores. Not much to want after this.

Cool, I didn't know she had a concert DVD out. I'll have to pick it up.

We saw her live when she opened for Cher 2 years ago. She puts on a great show. I'll have to pick up that DVD.

Cher - Closer to the Truth?

Sorry guys. Just saw advertisement for Cher's' new CD. Couldn't think of who else to share this thought with. Have to get it out of my brain.
I think it would have been better named "Help, I've fallen and I can't get up"
What was she thinking with that cover picture?

      So Sir George......

Finally a Western finds its way out of Hollywood. Last one I remember was 3:10 to Yuma, in which I felt Russell Crowe did an outstanding job.

My guess, though I do not presume to know all, is you may not be the biggest fan of Quentin Tatantino. I feel...

      Welcome To The Pleasure Dome
      by David Meek
As I've mentioned before, I've been on a journey back through my vinyl collection and last night I found a spectacular album (from a quality standpoint anyway). I put Frankie Goes To Hollywood's Welcome To The Pleasure Dome on and sat back, ready to hear some old favorites.

Jonatha Brooke- you *should* know who she is...
      by JonMarsh
I'm always on the lookout for interesting new music, but it's not very often I find an accomplished artist with as deep a repetoire as Jonatha Brooke, that somehow I've never stumbled across.

A friend from Missouri out here on business brought one of her early CD's "Grace in Gravity"...
