The Enemy Below - Finally?

After several starts and stops, it looks like we will finally get a DVD of this excellent movie. It's set to release tomorrow (May 25th), and I'll be at Best Buy to snap up a copy ASAP. Set during WWII, it's the story of an American destroyer, captained by Robert Mitchum and a German U-boat, captained by Curt Jurgens as they do solitary battle in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. Highly recommended.

Believe it or not, I saw this movie for my 6th birthday and still remember it to this day. I'll be anxious to get a hold of a copy.

Sheesh. Went to Best Buy to pick this one up and they'd already sold out of their copies. It didn't help that they only had three come in! I'll try again later.

You probably already thought of this, but did you have an associate check their computer for availability at other stores in the area? They'll call the other store and have them hold a copy for you for a limited time if you plan to stop by the other location that has one in stock. Or order it online for in-store pickup after verifying availability and they HAVE to hold it for you.
