Last thing I wanted to see - another Peter Pan

Didn't like the previews at all, but after much prodding by my daughters, I watched it this morning and............................................... ...............
............I ended up really enjoying the movie.

Supposedly, it is a more faithful interpretation of the novel, which I never read, but I sat entertained for the length of the entire movie, even (Hey, you better not tease me on this!!! :M ) getting teary eyed at the end. The actress that does Wendy does a fine job of it in the movie, important as the story is pretty much told through her eyes.

So, if you have kids around or if you enjoy this type of movie...or if your a grizzled old tough guy like me who can bench press four pounds, I highly recommend it. Besides, the sub really rumbles during a couple of scenes.

Keith liked Peter Pan, Keith liked Peter Pan.

I thought the same thing to myself when I saw previews. Since I don't have any small kids, and don't particularly want to revisit the story, I likely won't view this one. But it's good to know it's ok, if we do view it.

I had the same opinion on this one, so if the kids pull it off the shelf at the video store I guess I won't protest. Thanks

I was just like the rest of you. The trailers didn't do much for me. However, my six yr old and I watched it. She loved it.And it was not as bad as I was expecting. It was even enjoyable at times. Worth a rental for sure. Especially if you have little ones.

          Headphones for kids.
          by Supernova
My wife and I are looking to buy a couple pair of headphones for our kids. The budget is $100 for each pair. We prefer over the ear since our kids are used to them for ear protection when we take them to events. Not mandatory, but I'd like wireless if possible because they're young and possibly with...

          Previews / Trailers
          by june
          Hello All,

Anyone else have problems with movie previews? My wife hates them. She has a point of they show a little too much. Her point was "COLLADERAL" when the body hit the taxi. Mine was XXX2, I knew Samuel L Jackson wasn't killed because of the previews.

A screen giant is gone--Peter O'Toole died earlier today
          by Ovation
One of the greats is no longer with us. Peter O'Toole, 81, died earlier today after a long illness (no specifics I could find, nor are they necessary).

Apart from the obvious--Lawrence of Arabia--which O'Toole performance stands out to you? Lion in Winter is a favourite of mine. I also...

Just a little something I came across

          DISNEY
All future B Family Movies will be released in Pan-and-Scan 4:3 only. This is due to the growing number of complaints they recieved about the "Black Bars" at the top and bottum from the average consumer, who is so not familiar...

A warm hello to all forum members from down under.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to let everyone know just what a wonderful man Peter is and what he did for me.

It all started when I raised the question of whether the A21 & A51 are multivoltage units, as we...
