    Mad Max Fury Road

I'm on a roll (short lull in my schedule). An audio workout extraordinaire. My subs were earning their keep. A review described it as a two hour adrenaline rush. Pretty much sums it up. NOT a date movie (at least not early in the relationship), even with the (surprisingly well integrated) feminist subtext in the story. It's not an "in your face" agenda movie, for anyone who might be worried about such things.

Excited to watch this but I barely have time to watch movies WITH my wife and I doubt she'll want to see this one...

Tell her it is a feminist critique of action movie tropes disguised as a conventional sci-fi/post-apocalyptic popcorn blockbuster. Perhaps that'll convince her to try it out. (Or not). 8)

Did not enjoy this one. Minimalist plot, solely relied on obligatory smashing visuals. I recommend it for those who like the idea of apocalypse movies, but don't bother for a story or the human condition element. For those who like big trucks driving fast with steampunk themes and massive visuals.

Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

I thought it was just me. I was bored throughout. I need more than just action and noise.

Same response here as well. Was hoping for more from the largely positive reviews.

First of all, I used to like to indulge in some adult beverages and marathon Ping Pong sessions in the garage with friends. Second of all the Def Leppard (who I like and have a few Cd’s of) tie-in was really fun bonus. ;x(

Now this is my kind of comedy, I thought this movie was great...

I am surprised how this film went quiet into the night.

I was totally blindsided by the depth, morality & accuracy of this movie.
It met if not surpassed the impact that 'Saving Private Ryan' has.

                Each character is exquisitely developed.

The other film I caught up with yesterday was radically different from Ex Machina. Fury is, more than anything, a smaller scale version of Das Boot, only in a tank. My subwoofers got a workout (house was empty, so I took it a lot closer to "reference level" than I usually do). I might have...

I am finally set to receive my new 804S this Friday! I have been without music from my main setup for 2 weeks! Being without music is worse than being without you know what for 6 months from my very pregnant wife (ok not really). My problem is I have plans to attend the wedding of my wife's best...
