    Seven Days in May

First I gotta tell you that Burt Lancaster is one of my top 10 actors of all time, he never had great range as an actor, but he always made up for it with great passion, impeckable delivery and he could pick a good script...this is no exception.
I'm so glad to get Seven Days in May on DVD.
John Frankenheimer, has done many excellent films (we're about to get the French Connection!!!) and for me, this is one of them.
It's about an attempt to over throw the government, and that's all I'll say.
It's very smartly done, and for it's day (1963) it was very relevant. If you enjoy good acting, excellent direction, and a tight, well written script, you owe it to yourself to check this classic out.

Here's another reason to stay home and enjoy a movie in your own HT. Apparemtly, the movie "Anacondas" is so realistic, at a local theater one of the snakes jumped out from the screen and slithered across the floor, prompting management to close the place. ;>) (Just kidding about how it...

Had a bit of a break a few nights ago, so managed to tackle a couple of unwatched movies from the (too large) pile.

First up: Seconds (1966) by John Frankenheimer. Considered part of his unofficial "paranoia trilogy" (along with The Manchurian Candidate (1962) and Seven Days...
