Most of The Rock's movies are a lot of action with little substance, but Snitch is a huge surprise. He plays an ordinary guy who offers to help a Federal prosecutor and the DEA make a big drug bust in trade for the release of his son from prison. He is no super hero in this film. In fact he gets the tar beat out of him, and finds himself in way over his head. The guy actually has acting chops in this well written and directed white knuckle thriller. Good supporting cast, too. :T:T:T:T
