I think I got a bargin. HMV had the pearl harbor box set for 24.99 CDN. That was the 2 disc movie, the national geographic documentary and the map all for the price of the single movie. I think it may have been misspriced, but no one batted an eye when they rang it up. Oh lucky days.

That is a good price, Gordon. I believe I paid close to $34 for my copy. Blockbuster is selling it for $19.95 Previously Viewed in my area.

Cool, at that price I had to buy it on principal.
However, if I could have found it previously viewed I probably would have saved even more. All in all I'm pretty happy with the find.

Gordon I'm amazed you found a deal at HMV I usually avoid them out of spite for their insanely high prices. I often pick up previously viewed titles at blockbuster though..great prices and not a bad selection.

Andrew, I hear you. I never (almost) never shop at HMV as their pricing is sooo unrealistic when compared with just about every other Big named retailer. This was one of those "too good to be true" moments and like I said, I bought it on principal since I rarely get a break when it comes to deals (that and the fact that it was an entertaining story that I regret missing at the theater).
