Safety Not Guaranteed - a real surprise

So this movie was recommended to me and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It has sort of a different type of humor and a bit of a romance and we really enjoyed it. Its a different sort of movie and maybe not for everyone, worth a rental at the very least in my opinion.

      THE PACIFIER a pleasant surprise
      by George Bellefontaine
I just rented this on a whim, not expecting much, especially after watching Tommy Lee Jones makes a fool of himself in Man Of The House , but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

Vin Diesel plays a Navy Seal assigned to protect the family of an assinated scientist. The story line...

DVD Rental Pricing On The Way ?
      by George Bellefontaine
I've been reading posts at other sites about the pending "rental pricing" of DVD, possibly as early as next year. How do you feel about this ? As for me, I will still buy, but it looks as though I will have to wait longer for new releases to get to the sell-through price range. No way will...

New Total Recall worth a rental
      by Ovation
Not as entertaining as the original, IMO, but still a decent escapist sci-fi movie. The effects are well done, the soundtrack will give your sub a workout and there are a few small nods to the original that are fun to pick out if you're a fan of the first one. Ebert's reviews of each one reflects my...

THE RUNDOWN was a pleasant surprise
      by George Bellefontaine
THE RUNDOWN stars The Rock as Beck, a retriever/bounty hunter, who is hired to bring Travis ( Seann William Scott) back to the States from the Amazon. Seems Travis was a bad boy and daddy wants him back to face the music, but the real story begins as Beck and Travis come up against a nasty town boss...
