A suburban married couple, suffering from marriage boredom, use up one of their date nights and become involved in a series of incidents involving bad cops, gangsters, extortionists, crooked politicians and private eyes. Voila, boredom gone !
Although I did expect a little better film here, considering Tina Fey was in it, I found it to be just an okay rental. It also stars Steve Carell. I'm not a big fan of his because I've always found his comedy seemed forced. But paired with Tina, I found his performance acceptable and actually laughed out loud at times. There's also cameo appearances by Mark Wahlberg as the private eye, James Franco as a seedy extortionist, and Ray Liotta as the gangster.
I'd give it a 2 out of 5.
