My wife has very narrow tastes in films, but romantic comedies are high on her list so I usually put one on the big screen for her, if there's one she wants to see, and we watch them together. Some I liked and some I haven't but Made Of Honor was one I did. It's predictable plot -- man and woman are friends for years and eventually come to realize they are in love -- didn't bother me, because it's always interesting to see how things progress up to that moment when they " come to realize". Patrick Dempsey is the guy friend and Michelle Monaghan is the gal friend. Kevin McKidd is the Scotsman who falls for Michelle and is the trigger for that " come to realize " moment. You know how it's going to end but it is satisfying just the same.
A nice little film to watch with your significant other, and for me a pleasant change from some of the darker and more dramatic fare I tend to watch.
I rented it on Blu-ray and the PQ is solid.
