    Favorite Christmas Movies

I realized today that I should have started this a couple weeks ago, but maybe it's something we can pull out of the archives every year. I realized that we don't have a thread dedicated to Christmas movies. What does everybody has as favorites? Here's mine, that I enjoy year after year:

    1. Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
    2. A Christmas Story
    3. The Ref
    4. It's a Wonderful Life
    5. Veggie Tales: The Toy That Saved Christmas

I don't know if "Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown" is on DVD or not.
    CHRIS

Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

Chris, 1, 2 and 4 on your list just happen to be my all time favorites and I play at least one of them each Christmas. This year it was Christmas Story.

For some reason the Christmas CD's were MIA until the last minute so tree decorating was accompanied with "The Santa Clause". Ok it was lame, I'm not a Tim Allen fan... But I enjoyed it, go figure. Oddly enough the next night when I was going to hit it, The Santa Clause II was on, so I hurried to be all settled in to watch that. Yep it still had Tim Allen and it was still lame, but I enjoyed watching it too. For whatever reason, going to have to add The Santa Clause to the list, perennial number 5.

      1. Christmas Story
      2. National Lampoon Christmas Vacation
      3. How The Grinch Stole Christmas (Old Animated Version)
      4. Miracle On 34th Street (with Maureen O'Hara)
      5. The Santa Clause

            A Christmas or Holiday tradition
            by Lex
            A Christmas tradition of sorts.

Yeah, sure, we usually watch the Santa Clause, and I guess next year, SCII as well.

But my own tradition is the Die Hard trilogy. lol. I watched I and II last night. I myself, always thought 1 and 3 were the best, and 2 was just a bad acting...

            BAD SANTA ... oh, boy...
            by George Bellefontaine
This film stars Billy Bob Thorton and Tony Cox as a couple of crooks using the Santa/Elf thing ( Billy Bob is Santa, Cox the Elf) as a means to robbing department stores on Christmas eve, and stealing enough money to vacation for the rest of the year. John Ritter, in his last performance, plays a smaller...

Had a few friends over for Christmas last night. CamBot, Gypsy, Tom Servo, Crow… and (in this case) Mike. I love this program, spent many a “relaxing” few hours watching MST3k back in the day. Love it or hate it, I love it. I got MST3k Volume one on DVD for Christmas.

            by Bing Fung

I must admit, I have a weakness for Jazz Christmas music, and I definitely have a weakness for Diana Krall. So when my Lovely wife presented me with this CD, to say I was excited was an understatement :B

To begin with I absolutely love the cover art which shows Diana...
