While we are pondering your request for new sections, why not open a thread or two discussing the new HD-DVD and BR titles you are interested in, and let's see how much discussion they generate. If they stir up a lot of (civil) discussion, that would add weight to the case for new sections.

Actually, given that this subforum is not that active to begin with, I'd like to see it just added in so we can all read about it. Now if it stirred up some uncivil discussion, then I'd think we need to give it its own area.

by BKSinAZHas anyone heard any additional info? I was curious on the performance of the new unreleased DVD-2910ci and how it will stack up against the existing DVD-2910? Curious if the sound and video specs will be closer the the higher end denons or stay closer to the 2910. Whats your opinion?-

I don't bite my nails, but they are always clipped with very little nail to use when trying to pry off those #@@$*$# security seals on dvd cases. The first thing I do when I get home with some new titles is tear them open and catalogue them before putting them on " the to view shelf".... -
by Dean McManisI have been holding out ever since the introduction of HD-DVD and Blu-Ray on buying a player. Mostly because of the early-adopter $700-$1000 player prices, plus the higher DVD media prices, plus the lack of HD movie selection, plus I already have a LOT of movies on regular DVD, and have a HD Tivo box... - Loading...
