    BEAUTY SHOP has its moments

    It is a comedy, riding on the back of the successful Barber Shop film of an earlier date. It stars Queen Latifah, Kevin Bacon, Alicia Silverstone, and a few other familiar faces. Simple plot: Latifah after getting fed up with abuse from her boss( Bacon) at a beauty salon, quits and branches out on her own and has all kinds of problems making a success of it. My wife liked the film, I tolerated it, but have to admit that Kevin Bacon as a gay hair salon owner was a hoot.

      I agree George. I give it 3 stars. Good little flick to watch with the wife and friends.

      Kevin Bacon was funny! :lol:
