Okay, I thought I'd start up this game on the forum that we could play to keep each other deep in thought. For those who haven't heard of the game, it's based on the premise that you can link ANY movie actor of a reasonable recent era to Kevin Bacon through a maximum of 6 common movies with other actors. I have yet to find an actor that didn't work one way or another, and it gets easier every time he's in another movie. The only thing I would say for rules would be that you can't use TV shows.
Here's an easy example: Nicole Kidman
Nicole Kidman to Tom Cruise in Days of Thunder, or Far and Away, Eyes Wide Shut, etc... (one degree)
Tom Cruise to Elisabeth Shue in Cocktail (two degrees)
Elisabeth Shue to Kevin Bacon in Hollow Man (three degrees)
There's usually many solutions. I think it would be fun to play, throwing out an actor/actress and then see who can come up with the shortest link through movies. It's best if people don't cheat with stuff like internet searches. Anybody want to play?
